Sim is an experienced Senior Lab Manager with over 15 years in scientific research and laboratory operations from his profession in Industry, Institutional, and government agency. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Aberdeen and has extensive expertise in managing laboratory teams, overseeing research projects, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Sim is skilled in developing and implementing lab protocols, maintaining equipment, and optimising workflows to enhance efficiency in CARES. His leadership fosters collaboration among multidisciplinary teams, enabling successful project outcomes. He is passionate about advancing scientific discovery while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Sim has facilitated and achieved a Silver level recognition as part of LEAF for implementing more impactful energy savings measures towards SG Green Plan 2030.
