Dr Khiang Wee LIM

Executive Director, CREATE

Dr Khiang Wee Lim was part of the CARES Governing Board until he stepped down from this position on July 2022.

Dr Lim was the Executive Director of CREATE (Campus for Research Excellence and Technological Enterprise) from 2013 -2022. Prior to this appointment, he was the Executive Director of the A*STAR Graduate Academy.

Dr Lim graduated in Electrical Engineering from the University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur and obtained a DPhil in Engineering Science at Oxford University. He completed the Advanced Management Programme at Harvard Business School in 2004. He has held academic appointments at the University of New South Wales in Sydney and at the National University of Singapore where he was concurrently head of the Division of Power Engineering and the Associate Dean at the University’s Office of Research.
