Software Developer

Wilson joined CARES as a Software Developer from 2021 to October 2024. He was working on the development of a dashboard based in The World Avatar project that displays real-time timeseries data from a Laboratory Building Management System. The dashboard is used to assist the lab manager in energy consumption analysis. This ultimately helped to reduce energy consumption by 2% and earned the lab a Bronze award from the UCL's Laboratory Efficiency Framework. A subsequent Silver Award was obtained in 2024 with continued efforts by Wilson and The World Avatar team.
