Dr Nastassja LOPES FISCHER
Research Fellow
Dr Nastassja Lopes Fischer joined CLIC School Workgroup from July 2021 to January 2025 as a Research Fellow for Cognitive Flexibility in Adolescent. Nastassja Lopes Fischer is interested in applying the neuroscientific and cognitive psychology principles to improve students’ learning and self-concept. She has an extensive background using neuroimaging methods to tackle people’s behaviours related to social media decisions and to improve pre-schoolers’ social skills. In addition to her research experience, she also has teaching experience and has worked as a Human Physiology lecturer in a Medical School before coming to Singapore. She earned a PhD and MSc degrees in Cognitive Neuroscience from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and a BA in Biomedical Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
