Dr Rui WANG
Research Fellow
Dr Rui Wang joined the CLIC team as a Research Fellow in March 2025. She obtained her PhD (2025) and MPhil degree from the University of Cambridge in psychology and education, supported by the Cambridge Trust-CSC scholarship and the Homerton Charter Award. Additionally, Dr Wang served as the chair of the Cambridge China Education Forum (CCEF) in 2024. Prior to that, she earned her BA degree in International Liberal Arts from Waseda University.
Dr Wang\'s research interests include the relationship between cognition and STEM learning, particularly the role of executive functions in individuals’ scientific reasoning processes. She has extensive experience in cognitive assessment development, cognition and language research, and cross-cultural studies. Currently, she is particularly interested in integrating cognitive knowledge into STEM pedagogical design and fostering creativity in STEM-related fields.
